Two months ago FEMA announced that they were conducting a nationwide test of the Emergency Broadcast System for October 4th.

This led to a thousand different conspiracy clickbait podcasters getting their audience riled up claiming something big is going to happen Oct 4th - these same sort of claims have only been made a hundred times before, falling through every time.

I bet nothing will come that day, people who are excited for it will get let down, but somehow they'll forget and hear some other horseshit claim in two weeks from their same favorite clickbait podcaster and they'll get excited for something magical all over again - and the hopium cycle shall repeat.
