is it safe to keep self custody wallet like green unopened for say..1 month?

If you are using a jade device with green it is extremely safe, much safer than lightning

i meant the green lightning wallet. i am thinking of buying about 50,000 sats (+/-) a month

I believe that's a new feature and experimental, you should expect it to be higher risk
