Could you expand on the yellow color? I thought the color of the ghee, assuming the only ingredient is butter, was caused by the diet of the cow. I’ve read a richer darker yellow color implies a diet rich in grass.
Just restocked a couple of the popular 32 oz options of the regular pasture-raised ghee! Tweaked the formulation a bit to result in a slightly better yellow color in the ghee.

Yep! So my regular pasture-raised ghee comes from cows that are grass fed and pasture-raised only but some of their diet is supplemented with grains grown on the farm they are on.
I have recently added to farms in my area that I am getting cream/butter from and am able to now get a more yellow ghee from my non-100% grass fed cream and butter!
