We saw the moment

Our emotions all a-flurry

Bubbling up

Swirling and twirling

The aha moment had struck

And now we knew

The system we could fuck

It was a long game indeed

Some missteps and mistakes

But not a full scale tragedy

We had them right where we wanted

Spaghetti logic to set us free

We have no reservations

No false sense of reality

We know it will be slow

A nudge and slight shift

Into a new depiction of democracy

What the nation could look like

What we will eventually be
