I might as well just say upfront that I want Twitter to be a success but I want the people to have the ability to speak freely globally online and offline more.
I don’t know if Twitter will ever be able to offer that.

Anything that has a company or person behind can be forced to do what the government want. That's why decentralized social network can be successful in being uncensored

Advertising model is broken. Harvesting data on users is one government call away from being used for evil. A free and open protocol has a much higher chance of success the problem is all the big corps have a decade head start with their network effects. The more they censor and do wrong by their users the faster Nostr will grow. Glad to see you are here. It's going take sometime to grow but at least you can say you were here early.

They won’t. I was one of the bird apps biggest supporters, until my profile started (& continues to) getting delayed/greyed out tweets.
I’m nowhere near as passionate as many others on there are w/my color commentary. But, my tweets get reviewed for 3 or more days before being released.
It’s annoying. It also sapped all faith & confidence I had in Elon or his bird app.
