Thank you! I was made aware of #bitchat at our local Bitcoin Meetup where someone gave a presentation about it. Great idea and a pretty well working app already! I was able to download the app from the iOS Store during the presentation and immediately exchange messages with the presenter.

I think the feature that you can keep messaging people via #nostr when out of mesh range will help getting a good adoption of the app.

Only problem: The presenter had suggested I should send him a message later when being of mesh range and he had missed that your “how to” states that we would have needed to favorite each other. I had favorited him right away at the meetup. But he hadn’t favorited me so we are now unable to stay in contact via Bitchat until the next Bitcoin Meetup.
