Anyone here travel down the road of deeply looking into the 1800’s?

Marble, granite, limestone, brick masterpieces built in 1 or 2 years that would take us 15 years today (if we could even build them honestly). Without power tools. Without cranes. Built by “slave or prison labor with no real skills”. People shitting in streets but carving masterpieces that last forever.

Just take a quick glance at the mansions in Newport RI.

Insane asylums were a dime a dozen and orphanages were huge & in every major city.

So much to explore. So much doesn’t even come close to passing the sniff test.
