Well if succeeding is “lasting forever” then no government can have “succeeded” until the end of time

We just all have to let go the idea that we’ve found history’s last best greatest and most noble way of organizing ourselves (or that such a system is even possible) and admit that our systems of social organization are all entirely downstream of the technologies we have available to us for communication, violence, production, health and money.
