In private is not the same as in public. because usual people take it for real. we have a lot of POW who thought that we are fascist here and killing everyone who speaks russian and eating russians babies

I used to have a lot of friends in WMA who would travel to Voleyn every year to fight.
They'd report back that Russians are often ignorant, drunken homophobes; and Ukrainians are often ignorant, drunken homophobe neo-nazis with swastika tattoos who brag about beating up foreign students and being paid muscle for politicians.
That was about 2008-2011.
Putin is shamefully misrepresenting your country, but the fascists he talks about are known outside Ukraine.

I live in Ukraine since 90s. I speak russian in public. Never ever meet a single one fascist. Never had problems with russian lang. There was never a fascist party in parlament. I'm a progammer. I know a lot of super smart ukranian programmers and mathematicians. Don't you think that you can't picture all ukrainians from your friends reports? Also I think probably there are nazy in ukraine. Probably they are in your country. So what. It can somehow excuse invasion in your country?
