Repetitions, iterations you vs you, over time, yeah from that comes great things.

All similar ideas. I was having a convoy with a team mate last night when that light bulb lit and saw that association in some folks I know and a little bit in myself on a few fronts.

I know what you mean, you sometimes have these β€œa-ha” moments within these conversations, or appreciate those who have also done the work. Everyone has a different map to get there but the conclusions look similar. β€œI am here because, I am powerful because, I choose to be kind because” πŸ’œπŸ«‚

πŸ’―πŸŽ― πŸ’‘those dang light bulbs and when they come on. It's good to make note of what you're doing and with who, when they happen.

Oh absolutely! Those people are the mirror or the sounding boards we need.

A thing I've observed much later in life then most. But I'e been fortunate to often be around people that have that effect on me. While coincidental in my case, not a bad idea to be intentionally surrounded by people like that in life.

I guess this is the idea of surrounding yourself with people who improve you and not negative people.

Yes, very much so. Makes sense of course as you get older. But think way back as a teen or even a young adult, for me wasnt always so obvious. The benefit of wisdom.

Yeah. When you are young you tend to do the opposite. I'll have to try and explain this to my children. Which they will just ignore until they then learn it themselves.

Even when their not listening, they're hearing. It will register will them when they see it bc you kept repeating it. Facts. My daughter has quoted me on such things I didn't think she was paying attention to.

We have all quoted your wisdom of late 😁 even when you think no one is listening.. they are πŸ™πŸ½

πŸ™πŸΎ humbled.

Bare in mind for just about every problem or obstacle in life, there's been a hundred books written on that very problem.

I'm in avid reader. I'm not coming to these conclusions as my original ideas. Almost πŸ’― of the time, I've likely read through someone else's account on the matter and my brain has just filed it away for a subsequent nostr note.

The ability to read and then absorb the info and apply it is definitely wisdom πŸ˜‰

I’ve learned recently that there are many people who read but never take it in, those ideas and lessons seem to bounce right off them as if those hard won lessons were nothing.

Surround yourself with people who want the best for you, who challenge you to be better by being the best they can be, who won’t let you lie to yourself but encourage progress. That’s the lesson I’ve been trying to spread (among others). That true friends are courageous enough to hold a mirror up for you and to hold your hand while doing it πŸ’œ
