A family member has $16,000 worth of bitcoin currently locked on nostr:npub1cashappn03s3cl2ljsdntv0v28e2um5lgx4vjctqjt23pcwzjhsqmtdg5l awaiting identify verification since January, but there is no clear path for him to verify his account and support won’t help. Can anyone help me surface this to someone who can help him unlock his bitcoin? nostr:npub1sg6plzptd64u62a878hep2kev88swjh3tw00gjsfl8f237lmu63q0uf63m

KYC is a USA law that companies must abide by, or risk prison.
If your friend can't comply with USA law and provide the necessary identification and source of income documents, there's nothing any law abiding USA company or person can do to help them.
If your friend is a USA citizen, and believes they have met all legal requirements for KYC and provided the necessary identification and source of income documents, then lawyer up.
If your friend is not a USA citizen, your friend is shit out of luck if they can't meet KYC rules for foreigners.
He’s an American and he submitted everything they ask for but can’t get verified or any explanation why not
Then he should definitely lawyer up.
