God isn’t interested in half-hearted followers. He wants all or nothing from each of us! Jesus gave it all for us. He lived a perfectly sinless life, not just a really good one, and he died to save us. You can’t give more than that. If you only want a little bit of Jesus, then you don’t really know Jesus! The more you’re with him, the more you want to be with him.

Ngl, I really just don't believe that. I'm sure it says so in the book, but it also says don't eat shrimp, wear clothes of mixed fabric and how to sell slaves. If God is love, He's probably happy to find people who are looking for truth regardless of how lost they be. And in a world perpetually run by liars and leeches, I can fully appreciate how confused those truth seekers could be and I really doubt He doesn't.
