I've been trying to follow it and i am not getting why we need it NOW, to me I see drivechains as another federated model, but instead of like Liquid has a business quorum and fedi has their custodians in this one the miners play that role in managing the peg
But how much de
In the future maybe Liquid doesn't catch on and dies, maybe LN is still held back by on-chain connections which I doubt if we have a CTV like option which will open up other solutions but thats beside the point, then sure drivechain it up man if the demand is there
But right now, I don't even think people know about LN or Liquid or use it that much and now we want to build a new ghost city in my opinion for what? You telling me tomorrow drivechains are live billions of users are going to flock in? I doubt it
For me I say push what you have to the limit, work on drivechains in the mean time launch on signet and lets play around with it first
As for mining on CPUs yeah I don't know if small miners ever comes back bar some insanely cheap ASIC machine coming in that disrupts the market and we can all afford it, but I think it should happen
big miners still run risks and can be shut off easily and we need smaller pools of has distributed around the world to fall back on if a big player is cut out
Yeah. More power and centralization to miners doesn't feel right. 🤔

It will take time for drivechain sidechains to grow organically via dev time and resources and user growth.
The point is lightning network mathematically in its current state can not scale to billions of users with Drivechains Thuder software lightning could scale to billions mathematically.
Given that most people use WOS, I'm not sure this is such a good thing.
Fedimints, while not perfect, could help, but I could be wring.
Maybe everyone aggregates to one mint and we're back to square one.
I need to do more research.
