I’ve only had bland British Shepherd's pie 🥹 I don’t know of its goodness 🫂 also it reminds me of sad childhood stuff 😂🫂 but I can always change this 🙏🏽
I don't understand "modern" British food. So, sure, it might be sad, but, gosh, it doesn't have to be.
