Leave it to a #libertarian to know how hard it is to stay focused on the pursuit of self sovereignty. This involves discovering, owning, and taking responsibility for one’s place in this world. It’s hard.

Most #individuals could care less for this endless quest. Some just want to be led by others. Some want more to lead others, than to be individually sovereign. Many people suffer, and many more reflect their suffering onto others. These are all ways of being human.

Our “job” as #freedom lovers is not to build a world where all these options just “disappear”, or even one where “better ways” are more “desirable” than others. This is not #peace and #liberty for all.

Because all ways (let alone all the “best” ways) to be human can never be known, #respect for every one must be the heart of any #libertymovement.

Respect for others and for oneself is a work in progress. It will never be easy. There are no shortcuts. Life is hard. Life with humans is even harder.
