Umbrel is amazingly easy to set up, check it out! I already have a Bitcoin node, this Nostr backup relay & Syncthing for file sharing installed, running on a 10 year old desktop with 4gb ram.

I put a 1TB SSD in it. Should have gone bigger, but it will do for a while. Need to get a backup set up ASAP!

Nice. I might pick up a spinning drive for the blockchain data, and use the SSD for the main drive, I've got another SATA port available.

If you’re concerned about data loss just Raid 1 them if your motherboard allows it

I'm hoping it will be as easy as copying the blockchain data to the root of new hdd, then mounting the drive in place of that folder. I'll have an external back up drive for the entire system in place soon in case of disaster.
