How do you find Gemini compared to Google assistant now?
I haven’t hit any of the early glitches some people have mentioned. From a pure functionality and productivity standpoint, it’s a clear upgrade over Assistant.
I treat AI the same way I treat privacy and security overall—threat-model based, isolated, and compartmentalized. I don’t give it access to everything, but what I do give it, I want it to be used as productively as possible.
So far, I’m quite happy with the switch.
Terrible decision. People can't even choose. They're forcing them into rhe hype.
Windows 7 debloated and under firewall antitelemetry is the last usable windows. After that no thank you
Time for an open source, Linux-style home assistant.

Looking forward to testing out Home Assistant Voice. Love that you can connect it to popular AI providers or local LLMs and run it local or in the cloud.
Home assistant is great. I have a Dashboard of all the sensors I have laying around on the house.
