I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again.

I got my first sats in 2021. I had zero, ZERO, technical, security, software background. But, I knew this was something special to protect and secure.

So I figured some things out. I reached out for help when needed. I learned how to run my own node, I figured out which tradeoffs worked best for me (because there are always trade-offs)

If you care, you have to take the time to learn. There is no Bitcoin without self-custody. And for real it is even so much easier today than 2021! So many products and multi-sig options make it easy for the technically illiterate. Do the work. Bitcoin is proof-of-work. There is no corner cutting, while also admitting there are easy self-custody options out there today. Don’t trust disingenuous actors saying otherwise.
