I need to do more research on the history of societies going off of easy money and on to hard money and what the actual short term hardship was. As far as I can tell, society recovers very quickly when hard money is re-introduced after a society’s paper currency goes to zero. The fear of halting entitlements, govt spending, or welfare leading to economic chaos appears to a total phantasm to me; fear of untold disorder to keep the masses in line and funding the central bank’s money printing. Sounds like every other psyop of the past 80 years.

My mind is racing with thoughts right now.

If re-metalisation of exchange is looked at in isolation, then its typically about a Level Two in Dmitry Orlov's model of de-complexification.

Bitcoin's concurrent use beside fiat could lubricate the change and keep it to a Level One, even.

But I don't see The Powers That Be handing over the levers with a smile and best wishes for our future. They can force it to be a Level Three easily enough, and a Level Four in places.
