Drug abuse is at an all time high, homelessness is also become unbearable in large population centres. US West Coast is a cesspit of this decline where humanity just starts to vegetate away due to the substances.
Inflation will continue to destroy modern society and break down the social cohesion for the foreseeable future completely exacerbating the problem further.

Its personal task of each one of us to come at internal peace with the fact you and your close ones will make it, but majority in these places wont. Big part of your extended family and friends wont make it.
You can and should offer advice and help whomever asks for it but you cant help everyone...
