Today I was in full rain heat wrestling some very aggressive rose plants - award winning material too.
We are just realizing we need roses. We are in build mode for the next 5 yrs need more rain too
If you need me to recommend some, I’d love to 🤗
By all means, we are in zone 7a list away
Joseph’s Coat is a great one. It’s highly fragrant, highly fragrant climbing roses are amazing. If you don’t make sure you limit the root growth, roses can grow pretty crazy big & get stuck in the ground lol 🌹
I highly recommend private shop owners, not the bigger companies. Bigger companies sell crap roses 🥀

You can also get lucky at Home Depot too! Depending on how you like your roses, you can get either, vigorous, highly fragrant, or double blooms with unusual colors & shapes ☺️
