My brother in law and father in law have both asked about self custody this year. They've held Bitcoin since 2020 but both have been scared to move off Coinbase. What's funny is that as the value has grown they're both wanting to get away from exchanges.
This year they got the presents they wanted but both are getting Bitkeys.
Self comfort level factor was huge for me. Baby steps for me.

Yep. “Everyone self custodies when comfortable with it” should be a corollary to “everyone gets bitcoin at the price they deserve”
