Russia reiterated today that it will not accept a European peacekeeping mission in Ukraine after a ceasefire agreement is signed.

Essentially, the Russians demand:

• Recognition of the Ukrainian territories they have invaded and occupied,

• The overthrow of Zelensky’s government,

• A rewrite of Ukraine’s constitution to permanently ban NATO membership,

• A prohibition on foreign arms shipments to Ukraine,

• The complete demilitarization of the country, and

• A ban on any peacekeeping mission that could hinder future Russian invasions.
