Did anybody come up with a solution that stores Nostr keys in a cloud and allows to easily reuse them in different nostr apps?
Not sure if that’s even possible, would require some standardisation around this

Don't fancy much about storing in the cloud. I will build a lightweight service that any person can leave it running in their home pc that will act as an nsec bunker, and you will auto login in nostr apps.
How the autologin part works?
Im thinking in the scenario of my existing browser extension, it works as nostr signer (nip07) currently it keeps you nsec, just like alby for eg. But with this nsec bunker, you would still sign in with the extension (nip07) but your keys would be in the bunker, not in the extension. If you don't want to use the extension, you can just get the nsec bunker string/npub and paste it the client. Coracle supports all of this is a good example. Ofc pasting your nsec bunker npub is not auto-login, it sucks, I think we could come up with a simple standard to make this auto fill automatic a bit like nip07.
Nsec bunker is better.
Yes, although I never managed for it to work and never met anyone who did this 🫣
I want this as an Umbrel app. If I knew how to do it I would.
We at Alby might have something for you ;) but it will take some time
Well. I should have said it's a *better idea*. I tried running nsec bunker, but I suck at docker. You can use something like nsecbunker.app though.
I believe Pablo plans on releasing nsecBunker as an Umbrel app at some point.
Good to know.
What would it take to push this closer to the top of nostr:npub1l2vyh47mk2p0qlsku7hg0vn29faehy9hy34ygaclpn66ukqp3afqutajft priority list?
