I wish there was a simple guide on relays
what do you want to know?
Basically
- will having a limited amt of relays make it so I can’t see certain content
- how can I optimize my relay set up
- what is the direct impact of removing and adding relays (like some accts only exist on certain relays, or certain posts, I just don’t get it)
- you can only see content published to the relays you are connected to
- connect to relays that your friends are putting events on, too many relays will slow you down
- accts “exist” everywhere, posts only exist on relays they were transmitted to

Damus, by far, but I don’t have an Android to play around with Amethyst and I hear that’s pretty great, too. If I’m not on my phone, Iris or Snort.
Have heard some really good things about nostrgram.co especially if you want to try something less like twitter
Also a great desktop client! Needs some CSS love, though. I’ve used it a bit, but still default to Iris.
Damus is far and away my daily driver. Current is new and interesting as well, but the lack of an external wallet was a no-go for me
