The majority of bitcoin is held by people who value freedom and tend to live outside the grid as much as possible. I'm here to tell you that the technological future cannot be averted. Even if somehow you'll manage to bypass the surveillance beast, your children and their children won't be able to.

Nostr is one solution to censorship and control from the central planners. Nostr is also tech but it's a more desirable form of tech. If you still tweet while using Nostr in parallel you're missing the point. Bitcoin will change hands and the "market cap" won't always be peanuts like today.

They let bitcoin live in its infancy because of how sure they are they will eventually trick you somehow in the future. Let this sink in.

In the size of population like it is today, almost all will be forever enslaved no matter what, because they want to be enslaved, they don't want to be responsible for themselves. Neither security nor food. Because at these masses the life is too fast because of not enough uninhabited free (cost nothing) space. People are immature. They never grow up. Children forever. Children don't want to be responsible and independent.

There is a solution to that. But I cannot tell it because nobody even here will understand and support it. The key is: make it or break it or don't do it, strictly no compromises. Think about it long and deep enough, and you will find the answer.

I don't know how many centuries this will take, but if the direction set by bitcoin is maintained (infividual independence), eventually there will be enough people understanding it, and humanity will transform into no more grown up children.

What is a person directly influenced by his feelings? A child.

What if the person is only sometimes led by his feelings? He is a child who sometimes, under some specific easy conditions, is able to act like an adult.

I am absolutely certain that any changes implemented en mass never last long. So I never think in terms like let's do xyz to all the people and then we will achieve our objective.

The changes last, if you implement it on yourself, go together with likeminded ones, be strong enough mentally and physically to stick to your ways. While you are too small and lack strength, grow secretively (so you do not have to defend against an impossibly stronger enemy), then be strong enough to stick to your ways openly and demonstrably. Gain more and more likeminded people joining your community, but don't make compromises, don't get soft, don't let any deviations to infest it. The hardest it gets when your own children try to deviate. Cannot happen. You must either fix them or get them out. Until the opposition is smaller, irrelevant, and no longer there.

It seems bitcoin has been following a very similar path since its birth.

Now, I did not say how to get rid of the dependent grown up children. But it is doable. You just have to be firm and stubborn - i.e. an adult. Maybe not necessarily an arahant, but not far off.
