Are you asking how to get your domain to serve up NIP-05 addresses?
yeah so can I just delete it from my profile or do I need to get a new one ?
No.
It's just to verify that you're you. Stops people from impersonating other people. Anyone can call themselves Mananguri. Only I have access to the mananguri@onlynostr.club account. My NIP-05 nostr address and lightning address are the same.
So for instance, you could prove that you're talking to the real me by sending a 1 sat payment with a message. Only the real me with access to the lightning wallet at my address can see the message you send.
The NIP-05 address of mananguri@onlynostr.club resolves to my npub which verifies this account as the real Mananguri.
It won't matter if you don't set any of this up. You can just leave the NIP-05 field blank.
Setting it up for your own domain is pretty easy. You can even use a free Cloudflare account if you don't have your own website for your domain.

Ok, so, sounds like you're not familiar with Cloudflare.
And, it doesn't sound like you're currently running a website for your domain, is that correct?
Cloudflare protects websites from DDoS attacks, cache's your website content, handles https certificates etc.
And, it can make it very easy to serv up a NIP-05 address for your domain, even if you don't have a website. It's free, won't cost you anything.
If you're interested, create a free Cloudflare account. Follow the instructions to setup your domain on Cloudflare and then you can use the Cloudflare website to setup the https certificates and redirect for your NIP-05.

So I just deleted the address (nip-05) and updated my new wallet address (for zaps)
Do does this mean I'll be able to receive SATs via zaps still ?
Zaps go to your lightning address. You don't need a NIP-05 address to receive zaps.
Having the same address for both your lightning address and NIP-05 address like I do, it's cool looking, ensures the correct person is getting zapped, etc. But, it's just for looks. It's why they're called Vanity Addresses. 😏
The onlynostr.club vanity address I use, it's just simple redirect to my actual lightning address. Click on the link and take a look at how these vanity addresses work.
For instance, to get it to be your lightning and NIP-05 address, select Forward as the node type, and enter https://vipsats.app/.well-known/lnurlp/btcbackpacker to forward payments to your wallet.
Other than that, yeah, it doesn't really matter if you don't have a NIP-05 address. Just looks cool when you use your own domain or a vanity address.
