Well, considering the Premier of Ontario, Doug Ford, is a total douche... I didn't see the add but I bet it was pathetic. I've seen others. Was it a "trusted partner" messaging? If you want more details about how a "conservative" premier hasn't fulfilled a single promise, botched everything he's done, doubled the debt, imposed draconian measures during the demic, refers to Tim Walz as a great friend, and called an unnecessary election "because Trump" (really because the opposition parties are disorganized and worse)... Yeah, I imagine the ad was bad.
