Following #[2]. Any more #3D printing enthusiasts here?

I also want to get into 3D printing.

I have bought this 3D printed film camera (still in USA),

but I might print another one like this, when I would get 3D printer,

so my question:

what are estimated costs to print something like this?

(Printer price + needed extras)

Followed! 😀

Printer $100-1500usd

Filaments $18-39 USD per 1 kg

Completely guessing but I'd say using pla $45ish usd

Great. Any particular printer brands you would recommend?

I only have experience with the ender 3. But theirs countless clones of that printer. I heard the bamboo Labs is a good fast one also

Then their's software for the files couple options for that also I use Cura but hear pursia slicer is good.

Novice here, this will show what I've done: https://www.printables.com/@chamber32_559697

GM Sir!

Very cool. If you're in the US you can get an Ender 3 from Microcenter for $99, I'm not in the US, so not sure if they still offer this deal.

If you want to print in a bit better quality with less tinkering, expect a $400 price point for example for a Prusa Mini.

Filament for this would be 1 Roll at max, so ~$20.

GM,

I would also consider the Sovol SV06.

Wide and conservative guess, if an STL was provided, id guess anywhere between $20-$60 to print. Depends on the material and overall volume of material. I took a look at their website, and am in aw with how refined the end product looks. A truly promising example of 3D printed end use items.
