Does anyone have good references on a UTXO strategy?
I read many posts about consolidation but if #bitcoin is to achieve what it set out to do (or even 10-20%) would you want smaller UTXOs as they would be worth more (in USD) terms. Or another way to say it is each sat will go further in purchasing power.
I’ve considered the same thing and am not sure. I think I’ll base it on LN channel sizes.
Interesting take. I haven’t read anyone suggesting using LN channels as a basis for UTXO. Is this to try and use the channel sizes as a proxy for expected future value of sats? (I.e. someone else is already thinking about appropriate channel sizes) 🙏🏼
I just imagine most of my future UTXOs will go into LN channel liquidity top ups. And when I need major on chain transactions, the fees will be worth it for that weight + beefy UTXOs.
Not sure if it’s the right answer or not.
