I got one, along with ToS. What relay software are you using?
Discussion
I’m very interested in nostr-rs because it supports SQLite. I seriously wanna try slapping it on Turso and see what kinda hell I can cut loose.
I've liked it. Config was very simple (outside of this spam blunder lmao)
But it's been rock solid since day one
I wanna roll it out on small nodes all over the globe and use Turso for the DB and just see what happens. 🤣
I want to do HA with a relay but keeping state synced across them is something I do not understand right now.
In my mental model the relays will have to send events to each other but I've never seen anything that indicated they do that.
That’s how you’d do it with strfry or similar.
Using a globally replicated db like Turso it should be transparent. Strfry has made sync much more efficient with ngentropy.
Oh okay so that works basically how I thought it would.
I would imagine a bunch of instances of nostr-rs trying to talk to the replicated backend would probably result in a race condition. But I've never heard of Turso before.
