So much is tied up in the opposition that was engineered in the Sikes Picot arrangement and general British approach to setting enemies against each other to weaken both. It's hard to see how we escape the situation without people seeing past how contrived it is and refusing to fight each other.

I do think global order is shifting to a point where the powers propping up these arrangements no longer want to fund them, and if anything may be just moving to let one side beat the other to spin down the whole arrangement. Puts an end to the forever conflicts but hardly in a justified manner. Though it's best to remember the universe is rarely fair.

Best move for everyone is focus more on building antifragility and steering clear of conflicts fueled by groupthink.
