#bhagavadGita .. chapter 2

Verse 12:

There never was a time when I did cease to be,

Nor you,

nor these assembled kings,

for all eternity.

And in the ages yet to come,

this truth shall still remain,

That none of us will ever fade or wane .

Verse 13:

As through this life the embodied soul will stride,

From childhood's dawn to youth,

then age's tide,

So at death's door,

a new form it will find.

The wise are not by such transitions blind .
