I'm running 8,000 watts of solar panels, 3 separate strings to the solar controller. I have 12,000 watts of inversion power feeding 240v to my electrical panel. All of my lights are ran directly off of the 48 volt, 32,000 watt battery bank. My refrigeration and my circulation fans are also ran directly off the battery bank. Everything running directly off the battery bank is converted down to 12 volt.

Why choose 48 volt if you're running everything 12 volt? Wiring them in series to run 12v appliances seems like it makes more sense, but you've done this and I'm just sitting in my armchair.

Also curious if you optimized the angle of incidence of your panels. It does not look like it. From my understanding, you'd want to optimize for the shortest day of the year, which at your latitude would be quite steep facing southward. Did you do that and have some reason why the slope is so shallow, or did you just place them and they're fine?
