We had a great time getting to know and certifying @lanecreekhemp @dragonflyearthmedicine pure. This second year hemp farm uses zero commercial inputs to produce their hemp. Using cows, sheep, goats, donkeys, chickens, and ducks to create closed loop practices, they are able to keep their biology and fertility flowing year around. Speaking of flowing, all the water used to irrigate this whole property is gravity fed. They are bringing water to areas of the property that hadn’t seen water in decades. And the life coming from those places was exploding! They bring in spent grain from the local beer brewers to supplement their chicken feed. These two dudes are taking lots of small steps to making great impacts on their land and surrounding environment. Their finished hemp is absolutely gorgeous and smokes like great weed!
