Bitcoin itself doesn't fix the voting system.
But using a blockchain similar to bitcoins for voting, could fix it.
There's just to many people like yourself that think choosing sides is a better option while your votes go behind a black curtain and that's why we don't have a system that actually works today.
Once enough people understand bitcoin, they start to see other things that need fixing, but now with a new tool on the belt...
