Carcassonne: Hunters and Gatherers

Today we played a 2002 variation of the original Carcassonne. Our version is the 2020 reprint with updated artwork and a refreshed ruleset.

Carcassonne is a points scoring, tile and worker placement game, for 2-5 players. The aim is to build forests, rivers and river systems. The recommended age is 8+ and it will take 30-40 minutes to complete.

Hunters and Gatherers is a standalone game set in primeval Carcassonne. And we highly recommend this game to both fans of the original and to new players alike.
