Hello Frens,

I need suggestions.

I’m an iPhone User going to either android or google. Going to install Graphine OS. And plan to use silent link for cell data.

What phone is best?

I want a good camera.

Thank you all for your input.

GraphenOS requires Pixel.

If you can swing it, get at least a Pixel 8 (latest is pixel 9). This will have a longer security / support / update life. Anything earlier than a pixel 7 is approaching deprecation.

This☝🏻.

Thank you! Looking in to that right now.

Cool. First step after you get the GraphenePixel is install nostr:npub10r8xl2njyepcw2zwv3a6dyufj4e4ajx86hz6v4ehu4gnpupxxp7stjt2p8, of course

OFC, this new phone is going to be private and a full functioning bitcoin first playground. :)

Yes.

I'm still happily running a 6a. But I would get the Pixel 8. I hate overpaying for the latest thing before it's well tested.

From what I gather. The 9 hasn’t been out very long and therefore not a lot of feed back and/or bug fixes

GrapheneOS is a good choice. Very easy install, too. Just make sure its already unlocked when you buy the phone.

Thanks. Been looking at that.

It’s important for me to be able to photo dump onto an external hard drive right from my phone.

I don’t like cloud services. Seems this is possible with the pixel 8 and 9?

It's possible with any phone.

#GrapheneOS only works with Pixel phones. So the newer the generation of your Pixel phone, the better the hardware.

I got the 8 and its great.

should last a while too
