Dreading the day too but have to give them the best possible life along the way so when it comes, you can hang your hat on that fact. Brining them to the end and making sure they had an excellent time along the way is the best we can do❤️❤️

Animal stuff gets to me a lot more than human stuff. Idk why. Sometimes I feel bad about it but it’s just the way it is for me.

The level of pain at a loss directly reflects the love.
I will say, I think it’s preferable to enjoy the moment and not dread the future (as much as you can help it). No need to suffer needlessly and it takes away from the joy and love in the present.
