I am not Shawn, but I have used Iris.to for a while and it seems to be compatible with Linux. I like it a lot, but there is of course not a perfect client yet I think.

I’m with you, it’s great. The only native (versus browser) Linux client under active development that I’m aware of is gossip, as #[4]​ pointed out.
