Replying to Avatar HODL

I have a buddy that works in a prison.

He hates it.

He’s very aware that he is in prison all day and he complains constantly about wanting to get another job.

He’s lucky though.

At least his prison looks like prison.

How many people are in the same situation, but it isn’t so obvious to them?

Lots I would suspect, I was there years ago. No fun living a life of quiet desperation.

But another prison which is subtle is the prison of the mind, we must break these chains as well.

Agree, your friend is fortunate, he is aware of it.
