A zap is a Nostr event that links a lightning payment to a note or profile so it can be better incorporated into Nostr client UX
Satoshi sent via the lightning network, just called a zap on some clients cuz of how fast you can send money. Used to send value 4 value
Zap is a form of appreciation. Zaps are the next level up from 🤙🏻.
Typically you sent a zap when you laugh, learn, love, support, etc.
Zaps give you the option to send sat(s) which is fractional Bitcoin.
