The really successful people have methods where they can avoid paying taxes. They borrow against assets, declare no income, and use shell LLC companies to keep their effective rates below 5%, sometimes even negative!

My poorly written joke was that if you’re really successful, you have actually found a way to pay less taxes then someone who is only moderately successful.

So having low taxes could either mean you’re poor, or you’re really rich.
