Regarding wait times.
USA is the 7th worst country in the world for emergency wait times.
To see a doctor for a non emergency the wait time is almost double that of everyone else on this chart.
But if you got insurance and pay out the ass you have a shorter wait time for elective surgery, if you don't have insurance you don't even get access to that.
The fucked up part is that my own government is inspired by this and both major parties have been slowly enshitifying our healthcare system like what's happening in Canada and UK.
The politicians here see how much public money USA launders through healthcare spending and they are jealous they can't bleed us like that.
