Lori and George Schappell, the world's oldest living conjoined twins, passed away in April 2024 at the age of 62. Born in 1961 in Pennsylvania, they were joined at the head, sharing some brain tissue and blood vessels.

Despite medical predictions that they wouldn't live beyond 30, they led remarkable lives. George, born as Dori, came out as a transgender man in 2007, making them the first conjoined twins with different gender identities.

Lori was an avid bowler, while George enjoyed a successful career as a country singer. Their story is one of resilience, individuality, and breaking barriers in the face of significant physical and societal challenges. https://video.twimg.com/amplify_video/1847122222197985280/vid/avc1/650x442/QsWi1SbRx3R1UUlu.mp4?tag=16
