I wish there were more pro-Israel opinions countering my partly-educated defense of the other side, so I could rapidly learn the parts I don't know via civil debate and be corrected (and that could work both ways). But people are too angry to have civil debate, especially on X, where you just get called names and retorts are just extremist opinions stated as fact.
it is difficult to engage with people that disagree with you, so most people prefer the easier life of staying in their comfort zone. I think that is fine most of the time, otherwise you make life miserable for yourself.
But engaging with people who disagree with you would be a lot easier if we were all nice to each other irrespective of belief. I long for those days to return.
