Surgeons have a mindset different from healing. Their modus is cut it out, period. I’ve known many. The skillset is useful, but must be considered for what it’s worth.

I’m hoping some kind of partial replacement is doable without too much disruption. I’m tired of the random failures. I’ve dropped to the street a couple of times when it failed without warning. If I’m going to run from the fascists one of these days, I’m going to need both knees in tip top condition.
