If you are able to accept cashu tokens you can also redim at the same time on lighting network too. So if you don't trust the mint , just redim LN as soon as you get cashu token. The same risks that you have with mints you have with custodial LN. Plus you can run your mint as easy ad you can run your own LN node .. that will be not custodial with cashu too .. so cashu can be seen under a lot of point of sight ..
