There's a time for everything and zapathons, as a method of stresstesting custodial wallets and in particular WoS, had its time. We slowed down WoS three times? Some dozens zaps failed? That was a worthwhile and valuable experiment, never before the entire LN was stressed this hard!

Now WoS is stronger but we got less Nostr users and even less zapper. There is no point in zapathons at this point.

See it this way: Nostr was the communication channel to organise LN stresstests. That went very well! The gif dumpers and zap baiters took over later. Question is: WHAT DO WE BREAK NEXT?

I’ve been trying to figure that out myself

I do an okay job at finding & reporting bugs on clients but never intentionally tried to break any, I know of a couple vulnerabilities but don’t really have any intention of harming peoples experience on here, who know when tf shit could get patched..

relays seem like the next logical step since we have so many of them breaking a few shouldn’t really affect everyone unless they only store their notes in a small few and have no backups

but yeah apart from that idk what else we should be trying to break, got any ideas ?
