Based on historical price I can’t say that the « save #Bitcoin, spend #Monero » mantra doesn’t make sense but the more you spend Monero, the more compelling it is to have some savings in #XMR. Hence, as long as Monero usage as a medium of exchange increases relatively to #BTC, its price performance will catch up to a point where the above mantra will become moot.
